TauU was not conceived in an ivory tower or inside a conference room; it was built through listening and understanding the urgent needs of employers, society, and students. We heard the frustration of capable professionals who were forced to pause their lives, abandon their families, and accumulate debt for traditional degrees that offered no real change in how they work.
We acknowledged the feeling that "I don't see the practical application of sitting in the classroom or writing exams" and we absorbed the complaints of employers that traditional degrees simply do not deliver graduates with the 21st-century competencies like critical thinking and innovation that the modern workforce desperately needs.
Therefore, we built the alternative: a fully online, borderless university founded on our unique Deep and Meaningful Learning (DML) framework and commitment to Work-Integrated Learning or Real-world projects.
